Board Elections
Ticket Stances:
With new tickets forming for every election, the stance of the ticket (in the place of an ideology) is the main focus of the Board candidates. This is the main distinction between all the candidates and the tickets that are formed.
Alter-Administration: The ticket is largely composed of candidates that are within the current Board and largely promotes the continuation of experience but under new people, considers themselves people with inside experience.
Anti-Administration: The ticket is largely composed of candidates that aren’t within the current Board and largely promotes to change the leadership of the ASUW, considers themselves outsiders and fresh eyes of experience.
Pro-Administration: The ticket is largely composed of incumbent members of the Board or ASUW proper, and would therefore support the current Board and promote to continue their (and their own) policies.

The 2012 ASUW Board of Directors elections were most likely held on May 7–9, 2008[a] to elect Board members to the 112th session of the Associated Students of the University of Washington-Seattle. Of the 14 members of the Board only 8 are elected by the ASUW student body, in which all 8 were up for election this year.[2]

This would be (as of 1 Feb. 2024) the highest recorded voter turnout for a Board election, also the last in which voter turnout was above 20%.

Hello, the ASUW Board elections just took place and I decided to make a Wikipedia styled election box to showcase the results. Hope you all like it!

The 2023 ASUW Board of Directors elections were held on April 17-20, 2023 to elect Board members to the 123rd session of the Associated Students of the University of Washington-Seattle.[1][2] Of the 15 members of the Board only 8 are elected by the ASUW student body, in which all 8 were up for election this year.[2] The election would see the incumbent Alternate-Administration stance coalesce around the informal Huskies Heard ticket, with the Anti-Administration under the informal UW Unbound ticket.
Like many of the previous elections both tickets and most candidates focused on greater engagement and inclusivity of the ASUW to the student body.[3] The Huskies Heard ticket focused on the experience of their candidates within ASUW to enact their policy goals, the UWU ticket focused on outside experience to increase the voice of students not involved in ASUW.[4]
The elections resulted in the UWU ticket almost sweeping all the positions, only not winning in 2 seats in which their candidate dropped out prior to the elections.[5] The elections also saw record low voter turnout, with less than 1,700 students voting, accounting for 3.7% of the Spring enrolled student population.[6][7]
